Course Curriculum
K–5 Mathematics
Class Expectations
Arrive on time and be prepared with the necessary materials.
Respect themselves, others, and the learning environment.
Follow all safety procedures, especially when using tools and equipment.
Complete assignments and participate actively in class discussions.
Take care of materials and clean their workspace daily.
Grading Policy
Daily Work / Quizzes / Homework 60%
Major / Assessments 40%
Late Work Policy
Work submitted 1 day late: Maximum grade of 85
Work submitted 2-3 days late: Maximum grade of 70
Work submitted after 3 days: May not be accepted unless excused
Frequent late work may require a parent/guardian conference and academic intervention.
Make-Up Work Policy
Students with excused absences will have the same number of days missed to make up work.
It is the student’s responsibility to ask for missed assignments.
Make-up assignments may differ from original work to ensure learning objectives are met.
