I am honored to serve as the Dean of Students for Calvert ISD and excited to welcome everyone to a new school year filled with promise, potential, and growth. At Calvert, we believe that education is a shared responsibility between our schools, families, and the broader community. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Our focus this year continues to be on student achievement, character development, and building strong relationships. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the athletic field, or in extracurricular activities, we want every student to feel a sense of belonging and pride in being part of the Calvert ISD family.

Communication and collaboration with families and community members remain a top priority. We encourage you to stay connected, be involved, and share in the educational journey of our students. Your support—whether through attending school events, volunteering, or simply encouraging your child at home—makes a powerful impact. When we work together, we strengthen the foundation of success for every student.

We also recognize that our students face new challenges in today’s world, and we are here to support their social, emotional, and behavioral growth as well. Through mentorship, restorative practices, and positive behavior initiatives, we aim to help every student learn life skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
