Important Update Regarding the ACE Afterschool Program 2026-2027

We would like to inform you that Calvert ISD will not be offering the ACE Afterschool Program during the 2026–2027 school year.

Recently, we were notified that our application for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (ACE) grant was not approved for the upcoming grant cycle. As a result, the funding that has supported our after-school program over the past several years will no longer be available.

We understand this news will be disappointing to our students, families, staff, and community members. The ACE Program has provided valuable academic support, enrichment activities, mentoring, and a safe, engaging environment for our students after school. We recognize the positive impact the program has had on so many of our children, and the loss of this opportunity is significant for Calvert ISD.

We are grateful to our dedicated ACE staff, community partners, and everyone who contributed to the program's success throughout the years. Their commitment has made a lasting difference in the lives of our students.
