Calvert ISD is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Counselor to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. The ideal candidate will provide guidance services, assist students with goal setting and problem-solving, and collaborate with staff, parents, and the community to promote student success. This position includes implementing a comprehensive school counseling program, responding to student needs, and supporting a positive school environment.

Master’s degree in school counseling or related field

Valid Texas School Counselor Certification

Knowledge of counseling techniques and student support services

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Experience working with school-aged children preferred

Commitment to student well-being and success

Salary commensurate with experience
