Calvert ISD is seeking a motivated and student-focused 6th–8th Grade RLA Teacher to provide high-quality instruction in reading, writing, grammar, and language arts. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, support student growth, and promote strong literacy skills that prepare students for academic success.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Valid Texas teaching certificate or eligibility for certification

Certification in ELA/RLA or appropriate grade-level certification preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families

Salary commensurate with experience
