Supports classroom instruction under the direction of a certified teacher, assists individual and small groups of students, helps with classroom organization, and performs related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED

Must meet ESSA paraprofessional requirements (college hours, degree, or assessment), as applicable

Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff

Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, dependability, and willingness to assist students

Ability to pass required background check
